1.1. VISION OF THE STUDY PROGRAM
To become an excellent study program in the field of chemistry and its research-based applications that are recognized at national and international levels.

1.2. STUDY PROGRAM MISSION

  1. Organizing quality education in chemistry and its research-based applications.
  2. Conducting chemical scientific research and its application in the field of engineering based on local natural resources in the North Sumatran environment.
  3. Organizing community service in the implementation of chemical research products and their application in the business and industrial world.
  4. Organizing mutual cooperation between study programs and the business world and other stakeholders.
  5. Organizing a transparent, accountable, flexible study program management based on the National Higher Education Standards and Standard I

1.3. OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY PROGRAM

  1. Produce graduates who have quality and character in the field of chemistry and its applications;
  2. Producing research-based development of chemical science and its applications;
  3. Produce innovative products with economic value based on chemical research and its applications that are beneficial for the Business and Industry World (DUDI) and overcome problems faced by the community;
  4. Produce research products in the form of research-based scientific publications and/or Intellectual Property Rights (IPR);
  5. Produce research collaborations with stakeholders and regional, national, and international research institutions;
  6. Produce graduates who are recognized at national and international levels based on chemistry, research and community service;
  7. Generate alumni network in building a sustainable academic atmosphere in the development of scientific and expertise of study programs

  1. Implementation of a learning system with ethics and morals in scientific research.
  2. Availability of quality graduates who are professional in the development of research road maps and the production of various innovative products
  3. Achieving superior quality of research results and publications
  4. The research results can be utilized by the community and industry.
